What is DCON & who should attend?

District Convention (DCON) is an annual event where we come together to celebrate the achievements of the past term, elect the new District Executive Board, participate in a range of educational workshops, compete in contest, hear from keynote speakers, and connect with new Key Club members from across Louisiana, Mississippi, and West Tennessee to build everlasting friendships! Every Key Clubber is encouraged to attend!

To participate in any District Convention (DCON) activities, 2024-2025 International and District dues for the individual Key Club must be paid.

Is there any type of financial aid assistance? Yes! The LaMissTenn District Foundation is once again offering Key Club DCON Assistance Stipends of $200/student to help offset costs. Applications are due by February 21, 2025. NOW CLOSED

What is the DCON Centerpiece Contest?
How can my club participate?
What is the prize?		Each school is invited to craft their own centerpiece(s) for DCON tables. Centerpieces should reflect the “Happy 100th Birthday Key Club!” theme while celebrating everything that makes Key Club special.
The school displaying the most original, creative, and eye-catching designs will win a pizza party (up to $150) for their school’s Key Club which can be redeemed until September 2025.
Schools should make one centerpiece but are free to enter as many times as they wish.
