International Convention

International Convention (ICON) 2027

ICON 2027 will be hosted in Washington, D.C. from July 17-21, 2027. Save the Date!

ICON is the largest annual gathering of Key Club members from all over the world. It’s an exciting event where members come together to celebrate the past year’s accomplishments, engage in leadership training, and participate in various educational workshops. The convention also features the election of the new International Board, including the International President and Vice Presidents. Attendees can meet and network with Key Clubbers, exchange ideas, and be inspired by keynote speakers and service-related activities.

ICON 2026 Recap

Key Clubbers from all around the LaMissTenn District had a wonderful experience in Dallas, Texas where they were able to visit both Six Flags and a dude ranch prior to the convention. At Convention, they had an amazing time electing new leaders for the 2026-2027 service year and meeting fellow Key Clubbers from all around the world! They heard from different speakers including Sofia Carson and Terayle Hill who empowered them to become more involved with both UNICEF and Thirst Project. Additionally, they attended workshops covering various topics including Erica’s Lighthouse, Thirst Project, UNICEF, XHunger, the Nature Conservatory, and many others. Not only did they learn about these organizations’ goals; but also, they learned how to get involved and make a bigger impact. Their time spent at ICON was unforgettable and they are looking forward for the year ahead as well as next year’s International Convention in Washington, D.C.

Thirst Project Recognition:

The LaMissTenn District raised $2,669 for Thirst Project this year! Baton Rouge Magnet High School alone raised $1,037, Jennings High School raised $817, and White Station High School raised $165. Click this link to check your ranking, and learn money about Thirst Project’s mission. Last year, The LaMissTenn District raised $5,288 for Thirst Project. Funds from the LaMissTenn and Michigan Districts were used to fund an entire water project in El Salvador for a school! Check it out! It was the first ever Thirst Project water project in El Salvador that was funded entirely by students!
