DCON Recap

From inspiring speeches to unforgettable memories, District Convention 2025 in Tupelo, Mississippi was a celebration of service, leadership, and the leadership impact of our Key Club members. It was also a tribute to Key Club International’s 100th birthday! For a century, Key Club has empowered students to lead with heart and serve with purpose, and this year’s convention honored that legacy in style.

On Friday night, we hosted a birthday party to celebrate Key Club International’s 100th birthday! We had W.B. Sims (past International President) come out and performed for us while Immediate Past Division 4A Lieutenant Governor, Mai Nguyen, ran around dressed up as Jean-Claude. On Saturday morning, we had our DCON Forums ranging from Position Trainings to Line Dancing with W.B. Sims. Afterwards, attendees participated in a Thirst Walk with Andrew Reese walking 3.75 miles, raising over $1,000! Later that night, we hosted our Saturday Night Banquet and our Governor’s Ball! We announced our awards and celebrated with our talent showcase! On Sunday morning, we retired the 24-25 District Board and announced our 25-26 District Board with Sean Cummings as our Secretary-Treasurer and Lyndsey Griffith as our new District Governor!
